06.08.2010

The exhibition “Consecrated Landscapes” by curator and designer Helje Eelma was opened in the VIP section of the Estonian pavilion on 30 July. The exhibited works include 15 large and 6 smaller pieces of colourful digital art, which combine drawing with various photography techniques. The images are inspired by the artist’s travels in Estonia, Peru, Scotland, Malta, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, and China. The opening ceremony was attended by visitors from several neighbouring pavilions, representatives of Chinese companies, as well as journalists from the Shanghai Museum of Modern Art, the Academy of Art in Hangzhou, the Shanghai Library, etc. The exhibition will be open for a month.
